Before this I was a master's student working with overseas companies that ran almost everything on digital tools — for their clients and inside the company. Coming back to how business actually gets done in Jamaica, the gap was hard to miss. So much of it is paperwork that could be cut down to a fraction of the work.
Digital isn't just faster. It's harder to lose, harder to get wrong, and it survives a hurricane. Most small businesses I met already knew they needed it — they just had no idea where to start. That's the gap I'm here to fill.
